As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

The Parks Security Officer detail provides residents and visitors the best practices in safety and security city parks and community and recreation centers.

• This position primarily exists to preserve and protect, and monitor the safe use of city parks, by ensuring park rules and regulations are followed, and to educate the public through positive contact, also supports and monitors any emergency situations, and physically patrols. Park Security Officers will communicate with other security staff and first responders using two-way radio during emergency situations. Park Security Officers will patrol city property in a marked vehicle, complete daily patrol logs, incident and informational reports and may perform general first aid and CPR.Park Security Officers focus are the safe use of city parks, conduct patrols, make public contacts, assist community outreach staff, and education, and consistent addressing of the park code of conduct city codes/ ordinances.IDEAL CANDIDATE• Park Security officers must be able to work outdoors with the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and interact professionally and courteously with the public.• The ability to use a computer for email communications, report writing, accessing training, and other uses as pertain to the job.• Government, Park or critical Infrastructure security experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
