As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Gainesville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas of the food and beverage distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading docks, parking areas, warehouse perimeters, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, access-control transactions, and policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
