As a Security Officer Badge Control in Thomson, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and control vehicle, vendor, and delivery access in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or policy concerns.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and shift handoffs related to access activity, incidents, inspections, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
