As a Security Officer - Overnight Airport Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a major transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and airline personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeters, access points, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding incidents, observations, and shift activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
