Wednesday 12 PM - 6 PM AND  Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $30.85 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a healthcare and biotechnology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting access concerns and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a college degree.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
