As a Security Officer Driver Entry Screening in Gastonia, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at an automotive location, you will help manage site entry, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Support emergency response activities by controlling access, directing individuals as needed, and communicating relevant information to appropriate site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
