As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Response in New Holland, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access systems and alarm panels, and provide professional customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

1. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
   Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee access badges.

2. Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
   Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting alarm systems.

3. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
   Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, email communication, and data entry.

4. Customer Service Experience (B219)
   Candidates must possess strong customer service skills. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support in a professional manner.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at assigned entry points by verifying credentials, screening authorized personnel and visitors, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged access points, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
