As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in CYPRESS, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork at Allied Universal.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, families, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of grounds, buildings, parking areas, memorial spaces, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, parking guidance, and adherence to location rules and posted requirements.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Preferred: Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Preferred: Customer service experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
