As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Afternoons in Rockford, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will support a retail location through highly visible unarmed patrols, customer service, and clear communication. This primarily driving role includes conducting routine patrols, reporting security-related concerns, and helping to deter incidents while promoting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and emergency procedures while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
