You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail fuel and convenience location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, fuel dispensers, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and vehicle activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications, while following applicable armed post policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
