As a Security Officer Full Time Experienced Unarmed Patrol Driver in Tukwila, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transit location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to riders, visitors, and staff. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal through reliable teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel at public transportation facilities while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, pedestrian access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
