As an Airport Security Officer: Full Time TCO in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and care. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly with team members and airport personnel, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This role requires 2 weeks of paid, in person training, in a full time capacity before starting the shift applied to. Training will be Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the airport location.
• Monitor access points, report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate airport resources.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or public agencies as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership, airport representatives, law enforcement, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
