Pay Rate: $21.58 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, property personnel, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access requests, incidents, and site observations.

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, corrections or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
