Job Description


As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Coffeyville, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical refining location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, processing areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or hazards to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry and exit, and following established access-control procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site personnel and emergency responders as directed by post orders.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and assist with maintaining an orderly environment while helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
