As an Armed Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain a professional presence at a premier private club location. You will interact with members, guests, and staff, respond to security-related concerns, and help deter incidents through attentive observation and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
  • Monitor and control access at entry points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with club personnel and emergency responders, documenting incidents, unusual activity, and policy violations in required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, corrections or military experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
