Job Description


As a Security Officer Security Clearance Protective Services in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, clear communication, and dependable support for personnel and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.


What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access control activities, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and employee entry in accordance with site procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and potential security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
