As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Screening in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and support access control and site operations. You will deliver professional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
