Job Description


As a Security Officer Dispatch Command Center in West Chester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarms and incoming activity, and dispatch resources as needed. You will help maintain awareness across the site, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.58 / Hour

  • Supervisory Experience (C136): Candidates should have prior experience in a supervisory role, demonstrating leadership and management skills.

  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with access control systems and badge management is essential for ensuring security protocols are followed.

  • Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Candidates must have experience operating alarm panels, including knowledge of emergency procedures and response protocols.

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required, as candidates will be expected to utilize technology for various tasks.

  • CPR Certification (B205): Current CPR certification is mandatory to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and clients.

  • Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing client needs and concerns.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, incidents, and requests to the appropriate personnel or resources.
  • Monitor communications systems and maintain accurate logs, incident records, and dispatch activity reports in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Coordinate regular and random patrol activity around the business and perimeter, helping to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess supervisory experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Have alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
