As a Security Officer Full Time Screener in Pooler, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment to inspect packages and materials, monitor access points, and report suspicious activity. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or departing the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, shipping documentation, and access authorization before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Monitor screening equipment and conduct visual inspections for prohibited items, unauthorized materials, or irregularities; report findings according to site procedures.
• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas and the perimeter as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
