You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document entries, exits, and/or unusual conditions.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift pass-down communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
