As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Security Experience:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience (C112). This experience should be verifiable and may include roles in security operations, surveillance, or related fields.

Valid Driver's License:
- All candidates must hold a valid driver’s license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for positions that require travel or the operation of company vehicles.

- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet:
Employees must demonstrate proficiency in using a computer or tablet for email communication. This includes, but is not limited to:- Composing, sending, and receiving emails.
- Attaching files and documents.
- Utilizing email features such as CC, BCC, and folders.
- Navigating email applications and platforms effectively.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government residential care location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, patrol, and incident documentation.
- Respond to incidents, resident-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
- Report maintenance hazards, suspicious activity, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
