As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Clearance Required Driver in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.86 / Hour

  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
    Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

  • Valid Driver's License
    Candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This includes:
    • A current and valid license issued by the appropriate authority.
    • No significant driving violations or restrictions that would impede the ability to perform job-related duties.
  •  
  • Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
    Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems, including installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of security protocols related to alarm systems is essential.

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
    Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing digital communication tools.

  • CPR Certification (B205)
    Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification. This certification should be current and recognized by a reputable organization.

  • Customer Service Experience (B219)
    A background in customer service is essential. Candidates should have experience in interacting with clients, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service in a professional manner.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and security-related protocols at an aerospace and defense business location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorization as directed, and document visitor activity, incidents, and patrol observations accurately.
  • Communicate promptly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders regarding security-related incidents and operational concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
