As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Airport Patrol / Access Control in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while documenting observations using computer or tablet tools. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to airport visitors, passengers, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support compliance with site entry procedures for authorized personnel, visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and site protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and communications accurately and promptly, and report concerns to Allied Universal supervision and appropriate site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
