Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
  Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, troubleshooting, and responding to alarm events.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize digital communication tools effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates must possess strong customer service skills. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience in a professional setting.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access to restricted areas in accordance with established policies, escalating unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of public spaces, staff areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
