Job Description


As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Coppell, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and document activities while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $23.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, vehicle-related concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the dealership, service areas, parking lots, vehicle inventory, building perimeter, and other assigned locations.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Complete required activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
