Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License
  All candidates must possess a valid  driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that involve driving or operating company vehicles.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
  Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). Familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms is crucial for effective job performance.

• Customer Service Experience

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and access-related inquiries as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately through required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
