As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Screening in Topton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License (C124):
  Candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued in the state where the job is located. This is essential for roles that require travel or transportation as part of job duties.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. Familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms are crucial for effective job performance.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  A minimum of [insert required years, if applicable] years of customer service experience is required. Candidates should be able to showcase their ability to interact positively with customers and resolve issues efficiently.

• Security Experience (+1 Year) (C115):
  Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a security-related role. This experience should include knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, facility areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured doors, and/or unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access-control activities, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
