As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License
  All candidates must possess a valid  driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require travel or transportation of company assets.

• Access Control/Badge Experience
  Candidates should have experience with access control systems and badge management (B201). Familiarity with these systems is crucial for maintaining security protocols within the organization.

• Alarm Panel Experience
  Experience with alarm panel systems (B202) is required for positions that involve monitoring and responding to security alerts. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm operations and emergency response procedures.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
  Proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204) is necessary for all roles. Candidates must be comfortable navigating software applications and utilizing technology to perform job functions effectively.

• Customer Service Experience
  A background in customer service (B219) is essential for positions that involve direct interaction with clients or customers. Candidates should exhibit strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor vehicle, visitor, and contractor access in accordance with site policies, documenting relevant activity and reporting irregular conditions.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
