As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Awareness in Oakland, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help promote a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
