As a Security Officer Full Time Turnstile Monitor in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by managing visitor access, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring entry points. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and guests, and help address security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
  Candidates must have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with security protocols and procedures related to employee and visitor access.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  Candidates should possess a minimum of [insert years] years of customer service experience. This experience should demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate, resolve conflicts, and provide exceptional service to clients and customers.

• Lift Up to 20 lbs (B208):
  Candidates must be physically capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 pounds. This requirement is essential for roles that involve physical tasks and responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
