As a Security Officer Driver Unarmed Patrol Customer Care in Schnecksville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License
  All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require driving as part of job responsibilities.

• Access Control/Badge Experience
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201). This experience is crucial for positions that involve security and access management.

• Alarm Panel Experience
  Familiarity with alarm panel systems (B202) is required for candidates applying for roles that involve monitoring and responding to security alarms.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
  Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). This skill is necessary for roles that require data entry, communication, and other computer-based tasks.

• CPR Certification
  A valid CPR certification (B205) is mandatory for candidates applying for positions that involve emergency response or first aid responsibilities.

• Customer Service Experience
  Candidates should have relevant customer service experience (B219) to ensure they can effectively interact with clients and provide high-quality service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, parking inquiries, and general campus information while maintaining a professional presence.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, campus representatives, and Allied Universal personnel regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
