As a Security Officer Warehouse Screening Specialist in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials according to site procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and associates at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry points, credentials, and prohibited-item screening equipment; report irregularities and maintain accurate screening-related documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading docks, warehouse spaces, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
