As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Governance in Northampton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with access control systems and badge management. This includes understanding how to use access badges for secure entry into facilities and managing access permissions.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Candidates must exhibit proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes basic knowledge of operating systems, software applications, and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates should possess prior customer service experience. This includes the ability to communicate effectively with customers, resolve issues, and provide a positive customer experience.

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points for a logistics and distribution location by checking credentials, visitor documentation, and authorized entry requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-control records, including visitor, contractor, and delivery-driver entry and exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
