As a Security Officer with Active Clearance in State College, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

• 21+ Years of Age (C101):
  All candidates must be at least 21 years old at the time of application. This requirement is in place to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology research location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of research facilities, office areas, laboratories, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control systems, visitor activity, and security-related equipment; document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns accurately.
• Support the protection of proprietary research, technology assets, and controlled areas by verifying authorized access and following site-specific entry procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
