You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.36 / Hour

• High School Diploma or GED (C137):
  All candidates must submit a copy of their high school diploma or GED certificate as part of the application process.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. Documentation or references verifying this experience should be included in the application.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This may include familiarity with software applications relevant to the position.

• CPR Certification (B205):
  A valid CPR certification is required for all candidates. Proof of certification must be submitted with the application.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  Candidates should have prior experience in customer service roles. This experience should be detailed in the application, including specific responsibilities and achievements.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
