As a Security Officer Armed Level III Hospital Driver in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, medical emergencies, and/or disturbances in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas, while assisting with visitor directions and general inquiries.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
