As a Security Officer X Ray Screening in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors and items, monitoring access points, responding to alarms, and providing exceptional customer service. You will use technology to support security-related operations, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and help deter incidents through a visible, professional presence. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Screen visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with access-control requirements; verify credentials, direct individuals to appropriate areas, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and assigned areas for unusual activity; report concerns and potential policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance, access, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
