Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

  1. Age Requirement:

    • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101) to be considered for employment.
  2. Access Control/Badge Experience:

    • Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201). This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee badges.
  3. Alarm Panel Experience:

    • Candidates must possess experience in operating alarm panels (B202). This includes knowledge of alarm systems, troubleshooting, and responding to alerts.
  4. Technology Proficiency:

    • Candidates should be comfortable using computers or tablets (B204). Proficiency in basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms is essential.
  5. CPR Certification:

    • Candidates must hold a valid CPR certification (B205). This certification should be current and recognized by a reputable organization.
  6. Customer Service Experience:

    • Candidates should have prior customer service experience (B219). This includes skills in communication, problem-solving, and maintaining a positive customer experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
