As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight Hospital in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You may assist with sensitive situations, including restricted areas and individuals requiring intervention, while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site personnel regarding incidents and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
