Job Description


As a Security Officer Driver Credentialing in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage visitor and employee access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while communicating with team members. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Join a caring, agile team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying visitor, employee, contractor, and driver credentials; maintaining visitor records; and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, entry points, parking areas, and loading dock areas to help identify security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Support site operations by helping manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic at designated access points and reporting unauthorized access attempts, damaged access equipment, and/or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
