As a Security Officer in Freeport, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Dispatcher at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and support response efforts to help maintain a protected environment. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and communications systems; document and relay pertinent information to appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents, critical situations, and facility notifications in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, dispatch records, and shift activity documentation in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor access activity and coordinate with patrol personnel, site contacts, and responding agencies to help support orderly operations around the facility and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
