Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Navigating operating systems and software applications.
  • Utilizing email and communication tools effectively.
  • Performing basic troubleshooting for common technical issues.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  Candidates must possess prior customer service experience. This includes:

  • Engaging with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Resolving customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Demonstrating strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, manage visitor and vendor entry, and help maintain orderly access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the store, receiving areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, access records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
