As a Security Officer Entry Systems in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, assist with visitor and employee entry, and communicate professionally to help deter security-related incidents. Use your customer service skills and attention to detail while contributing to an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers; verify credentials and maintain required access logs.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle activity at loading areas, gates, and perimeter access points, reporting unusual activity according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including access points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
