As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Services in New Holland, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a food and beverage location. Monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, respond to alarm activity, and use computer or tablet systems to document security-related information. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
  Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm monitoring, response protocols, and troubleshooting alarm system issues.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, email communication, and data entry.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates must possess strong customer service skills. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a food and beverage production location, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures to help protect restricted areas and support facility operations.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other designated locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
