Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management to ensure security protocols are followed.

  • Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Familiarity with alarm panel systems is essential for roles that involve monitoring and responding to security alerts.

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required, as many tasks will involve digital platforms for communication and reporting.

  • CPR Certification (B205): Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations. FREE TRAINING PROVIDED

  • Customer Service Experience (B219): Previous experience in customer service is crucial for roles that require interaction with clients and the public.

  • Loss Prevention (B210): Knowledge and experience in loss prevention strategies are necessary for positions focused on safeguarding company assets.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor access to the facility, receive incoming calls and deliveries, and direct visitors to appropriate contacts or designated areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain clear communication with site personnel, transportation partners, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, access requests, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
