As a Security Officer Unarmed - Property Access in Graniteville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence to help deter concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, offices, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, maintaining visitor logs, and following established entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications, and assist with traffic, delivery, and access-control needs as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
