As a Security Officer Full Time Access Oversight in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and documenting visitor activity. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and use computer or tablet systems to support access-control operations. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  Employees must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for email communication. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Composing, sending, and receiving emails.
  • Attaching files and documents.
  • Utilizing email features such as CC, BCC, and folders.
  • Navigating email applications and understanding basic troubleshooting.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, or site-policy concerns.
• Support a professional environment by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with access-related questions while following established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
