Job Description


As a Security Officer Clearance Required Dispatch Operations in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarm and access activity, and dispatch appropriate resources in response to security-related needs. You will use technology to document events, support access control operations, and provide professional customer service while helping to deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $28.58 / Hour

  2. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
    Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges.

  3. Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
    Experience with alarm panel systems is required. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm system operations and protocols.

  4. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
    Proficiency in using computers or tablets is necessary. Candidates must be comfortable navigating software applications and performing tasks on digital devices.

  5. CPR Certification (B205)
    Candidates must hold a current CPR certification. This certification is vital for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and clients.

  6. Customer Service Experience (B219)
    Previous experience in customer service is required. Candidates should be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and urgent service calls, alarms, and incident notifications to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor communication systems, maintain accurate dispatch logs, and document incidents, requests, and follow-up actions in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting observed irregularities and conditions requiring attention.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
