As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Support in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol museum spaces, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and care. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and security-related policies within a cultural institution.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, public areas, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Assist with visitor flow, wayfinding, and adherence to museum guidelines while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and noteworthy observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
