As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Support in Jessup, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Security Experience (C115):
  Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in a security-related role. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security protocols and procedures effectively.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. Familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges is essential.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing digital communication tools.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  Candidates should possess experience in customer service roles. This experience should reflect strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and colleagues.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
